Co-Manager Gulf Exploration, LLC

Al began his association with Garrett and Company Corp. in 1988 as a shareholder/VP of Operations in Coastal Oils, Inc. and Gulf Production Corp. Today, Al co-manages and jointly owns Gulf Exploration, LLC, an independent oil and gas exploration firm focused on exploration projects in Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming.

Al began his career in 1982 working as a drilling and production foreman, and later operations manager for Ratliff Exploration in Oklahoma City. In 1988, following 3 years of consulting for independent oil and gas firms, Al partnered with Garrett and Company, LLC. During the past 23 years Al has supervised exploration activities in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Kansas, Wyoming, and New Mexico. Al graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry.
